TALE OF THE CAT is a champion sire who won over distances ranging from 1400m to 1700m. He has sired numerous Group 1 and Group 2 winners.
The dam, Wayward Angel, was unraced. This is her third foal. Her second foal is a two year old, and is the dam of one foal to race, Tale Of Sai Wan, trained by Anthony Cummings.
Wayward Angel comes from a quality family by Ain’t Misbehavin’ (unraced) who is the dam of 4 winners including:
• Dane Tryst who had 2 wins and a 2nd in the Group 3 VRC Vanity Stakes
• Johnny be Good had 5 wins ranging from 1420m to 2100m winning $160,300 in prize money
• Rundle accumulated 3 wins including the VRC Galilee Series Final Handicap. Recently sold at this month’s Magic Millions National Racehorse Sale for $40,000.
• Apologies was a winner over 1320m.
